The Challenge

Make Movie AI wanted anyone to turn a written prompt into a finished, cinematic-quality video directly in the browser. Not a single AI clip, but a complete piece combining visuals, voiceover, captions and music. That meant orchestrating several different generative AI services into one coherent pipeline, fast enough to feel real-time, and flexible enough to add new video styles without rebuilding the platform each time.

The Engineering Strategy

HashOne Global architected the platform serverless, on Next.js and Vercel's Edge Network, to keep rendering fast and avoid the cold-start lag that undercuts a real-time product's credibility.

The API integration layer is modular by design: each generative AI service, text-to-video, voiceover, captions and music, sits behind its own interface, so Make Movie AI can ship a new video style or swap an underlying AI provider without touching the core backend. That is the real engineering decision here: treating generative AI providers as swappable components rather than hardwiring one vendor into the product, in a field where the best text-to-video model changes every few months.
