Westbury Christian School

A site the school runs itself

Smoother accessto resources, forms and event information for students and families
Self-service publishingfor teachers and staff, no developer required for routine updates
Real-time editsfor admins across the site, with more intuitive navigation across devices

The Challenge

Westbury Christian School, a private K-12 institution in Texas, needed more than a facelift. Families were dropping off during tour bookings and application submissions on a site that was not built mobile-first; staff had no way to publish news or event updates without going through a developer, and there was no reliable path for real-time announcements, all while the school needed the basics of speed, uptime and security handled in the background.

The Engineering Strategy

HashOne Global rebuilt the site on a custom Elementor child theme on WordPress, giving non-technical staff drag-and-drop control over pages and content without touching code. Cloudflare sits in front of the site for performance and security, so speed and uptime are not dependent on the origin server alone. Mailchimp handles family-facing communications and GA4 was wired in to track tour bookings and application submissions as real conversions, not just page views, so the school could see whether the redesign was actually moving enrollment activity rather than assuming it.

The part that mattered most was not the visual refresh, it was handing content control back to the school. A site redesign that still requires a developer for every event post or announcement has not solved the actual problem for a K-12 admin team.

The Result

  • Smoother access to resources, forms and event information for students and families
  • Self-service publishing for teachers and staff, no developer required for routine updates
  • Real-time edits for admins across the site, with more intuitive navigation across devices

The rebuilt site better reflected the school's community and values while giving staff the independence to keep it current.

Need a site your team can actually run?

Most school and institutional sites break down after launch because every update still needs a developer. We build for handoff: content management your staff can use on day one, plus the performance and security work happening quietly underneath.
