The Challenge
Personalized children's books usually swap in the child's name and leave the story and artwork untouched. Tales of You wanted the child to actually look like the hero. That meant turning an uploaded photograph into consistent, high-quality illustrations across an entire book, holding the same face page after page, without the story losing its professional polish.
The Engineering Strategy
HashOne Global built the Tales of You platform and its AI personalization pipeline from the ground up, using Nano Banana for image generation and Gemini for the LLM layer.
The engineering is not the model call. It is the workflow around it. Parents pick an adventure, add the child's name and photo, then add siblings, grandparents, friends or pets. The platform connects those inputs to the authored story, drives the generation pipeline, and assembles illustrations and text into a finished digital book, in under five minutes.
Stories stay human-authored. AI personalizes the visual experience around them. That separation is deliberate: it keeps quality predictable in a category where a bad output is not a bug, it is a disappointed child.
